Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Range
I bought these products on a whim…I’d heard so many people saying how good they are.
Having used them for a few months now I have to say “Wow!” Anyone who has been within a few metres of me recently will know how much I am loving these products. I cannot tell you how fab they are (pardon the pun!). I’ve been using the Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads, the Glycolic Facial Scrub Fix and the Glycolic Cleansing Fix and they have improved the texture of my skin no end. Combined they have smoothed, exfoliated and regenerated my skin. Like a lot of women of colour I suffer with a little hyper pigmentation, this has dramatically improved it. They are not harsh at all and my skin is just like a baby’s bottom…almost.
If you are going to give them a try, do remember that with any product that contains glycolic acid you really should wear a high sun protection factor (SPF), as they will make the skin more sensitive to the sun. And we wouldn’t want to undo all that hard work now would we?
MAC Cleanse Off Oil
This is an all-time favourite of mine, in fact I think most make up artists carry this in their kit. It’s gentle enough for dry skin types (although you can try the tranquil oil version if you have hyper sensitive skin) but melts even the toughest make up on contact without have to rub. It is fantastic to use during the winter as it keeps the skin supple and won’t dry it out but conversely it won’t make oily skin oilier due to its incredibly light texture. I even use it when I’m cleaning my brushes, for ultimate deep cleansing.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
This is my star product and is fantastic for sensitive skin, it removes all traces of make up even mascara with little effort. Great if you’re always in a rush and are looking for super speedy cleansing products. No excuse not to remove your make up at night ladies! This is one that will definitely be found in my kit from now on, for those quick changes or little clean ups. Don’t forget though, if you’re wearing a lot of make up, you may want to use a wipe first.
So what about you guys? What are your superstar products?
